Renee Herman, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist who provides evidence-based care to individuals, couples, and families. She has specialized training in treating eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. Renee focuses on helping clients build healthy relationships—with others, with food, and with their own body image. Her approach supports effective communication, healing from past trauma, and improving self-esteem. She believes in a collaborative process, empowering clients as the experts in their own lives. Renee earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University and completed her practicum at the eating disorder unit at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital in San Diego. She later worked at Brightways Counseling in Redmond for three years, where she earned her LMFT license. In addition to her private practice, Renee works in the Bend-La Pine School District and enjoys supporting both teens and adults. Originally from Kirkland, Washington, Renee lived in San Diego for several years before returning to the Pacific Northwest. She and her family now live in beautiful Sisters, Oregon. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, reading, spending time with her spouse and kids, and exploring farmers markets.
